Tides Folly Beach, Charleston'S Oceanfront Hotel

Had fine experience, overall straightforward place.

The room with comfy beds.

We had a good stay out of service during our entire stay.

The restaurant here was great for breakfast, we both ordered delicious dishes. The bed was very comfy. Stunning location for visiting restaurants and bars walking distance to the hotel. The hotels' team was helpful.

Great view of the beach. Balcony. Tiled floor. Modern.

Missing 1 or 2 chairs on the terrace. work starting a little early in the morning and price a little high (especially with the work).

Relaxing base for exploring Folly Beach. We appreciated staff and location, the hotel had essentials we needed.

Unfortunately the doors are not sealed. So the wind moved into the room with an unpleasant noise.

location directly on the beach with a view of the beach and pier is fantastic. rooms are spacious and without carpeting. staff is very nice and helpful. within walking distance there are several bars, cafes and restaurants.

The air conditioner is quite loud and starts with a roar every 5 minutes.

The manager denied that a package had been delivered for us, until we accessed UPS online to prove he had signed for it. He was either totally disorganized, or he was a thief. I tend to believe it was both. The staff at the front desk were less than helpful. They didn't even give me a receipt or copy of my bill when we checked out -- which was a day early due to our displeasure with the situation.

Staff was absolutely excellent!

We were not advised the pool was inoperable upon arrival but it was useable within a day.

This place was a proper fit for a short stint in Folly Beach with great value for money. I loved the friendly staff and enjoyed watching a movie on the beach while having excellent takeout. Be prepared for some sand accumulation since the beach is literally right outside your door.

Elevators seemed to be out of order everyday, brunch was not as good as expected... Shampoo & soaps were not as nice as we would have liked. The mini fridge didn't work too well and the carpets were sticky in the room.

The location was great, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel is in walking distance of the restaurants.

There should be a separate section for families with pets.

The beachfront location is stunning, and I loved the evening entertainment! The food was super tasty, and the views from the room were incredible.

Felt free to seek any assistance, no complaint.

Parking staff and check-in staff were excellent.

Bedding needs updated, especially mattress pad. Also I observed housekeeping staff change bed and she did not tuck mattress cover and fitted sheet under the bottom edge of the mattress.

The location of Tides was amazing!

The room was not very clean as well as you could hear your neighbor loud and clear.

Great staff and delicious food, but rooms need better maintenance and cleaning.
